Eugene Min is a Managing Director based in Hong Kong and is Blackstone’s Head of Business Finance for Asia. Since joining Blackstone in 2018, Mr. Min has been leading the Business Finance team members in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Mumbai to support the Real Estate, Private Equity and Tactical Opportunities businesses. In addition, Mr. Min’s other primary focus areas have been the Asian open-ended Core+ fund and the various portfolio companies across Asia.
Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Min worked at CLSA Capital Partners, a multi-strategy alternative investment platform comprised of real estate, private equity, credit and real asset strategies, as their Chief Financial Officer and a member of the management team based in Hong Kong where he was responsible for the platform’s finance, tax, reporting, valuation and corporate planning/development functions. Mr. Min also played an active role in strategic and tactical decision-making including capital allocation, evaluating/executing corporate-level M&A opportunities and new strategy/product development.
Prior to that, Mr. Min spent 13 years at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in various capacities in their Global Real Assets Group initially based in New York as part of the Real Estate Americas team and subsequently relocated to Hong Kong to help establish and launch their Asian Infrastructure investment platform.
Prior to that, Mr. Min worked at Ernst & Young in New York as an auditor in their Financial Services Office group.
Mr. Min received a B.S. in Business and Economics from Lehigh University and is a CFA Charterholder.
